When her children became teenagers, she started working for Lutheran Apartments, a senior high-rise in downtown St. Petersburg.  After more than ten years as the assistant administrator, she became the administrator of Lutheran Residences of South Pasadena, a partner senior housing community. She worked with the elderly there for over twelve more years. She resigned to become a full time caregiver for her husband and took care of him until he passed away. Anja has been a volunteer with Ruth's Promise but the program is now fortunate to have her administrative expertise as Director.
